Job description :
The individual performing this job will be a hands-on software developer engaged in the software development of charging, billing and financial applications for telecommunication industry.

The individual shall develop deep Product/Domain knowledge. He or she will work with the requirements and come up with design documentation, implementation, and unit/integration testing. 

The individual shall have strong analytical capability, should be able to trouble shooting. He or she also provides technical guidance to junior team members on all phases of the software development cycle.

The individual will also work closely with off-shore team cross different time zones and will need to be on-call for important project milestones.

Required Domain Knowledge:
Knowledge and experience with charging, billing and financial applications for telecom industry

Required Technical Skills:

Software Languages and OS: C/C++, STL, XML, Shell script/Perl, Unix (AIX, HP, Solaris)/Linux, Windows

Database: Oracle or any relational database, PL/SQL

Object Oriented Design: UML - main diagrams

Required other Skills:
Good communication skills, able to work with teams cross sites and time-zones.
Demonstrate initiative.

Understand the complex interactions among various system components. Experience with performance and high availability systems
